Woodchucks

Now, as you all know, the famous Carl Speckle of Bushwood Country Club made a pursuit of gopher hunter famous… Little did we know that our own FM (aka Carl Speckle) would go on to make woodchuck hunting ALMOST as famous…

As it turns out, our Mr. Speckle has a bit of an issue with woodchucks around his current abode, and once he saw the curtamous pics depicting (no pun intended) “Mr. Fudd’s” success, he made a plea for help… it turns out that he didn’t appreciate the response, and went on to deface said pics… see below:

I don’t know if he wanted it to look like I slew the MIGHTY woodchuck, or was just trying to mount it… despite his disrespect, I decided to dedicate this page to the FM and his endless, lifelong, thankless pursuit of “Marmota monax”. the woodchuck!!!

So today, we’ll begin with the early days, and a few choice pictures from the FM’s youth…
